Human survival has witnessed humongous technological advancement. Three decades ago, we used to communicate with our colleagues and family partners by writing the post card. But then we changed our way of communication from post letters to the new world of internet by Electronic Mails.
This is evident from the history with the advent of Internet, our lives are now more fascinating and compelling then earlier. Internet made every thing whether it may be our studies or something else difficult to find out in books, much effortless. On the other hand, our ties with our next of kin are much intense then we used to have with them by social networking.
When it was founded, it has illuminated the lives of people living far from their close one's. Founders of some social networking sites initiated this mechanism with the aspiration of connecting people stayed or sojourned around the globe.
By social network people could communicate and be in touch with them anytime whenever they want to be. However, as every aspect have both negative and positive phase, social networking has faced the same phenomenon. Notwithstanding, it has uplifted the standard of living of their citizens,but also started anxiety among their users and tumultuously plundered our lives.This can also be true that it has more negative phase than positive one's.

To make it more easier to understand, let us figure out the trending social networking websites; FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and SNAP CHAT.
With the advent of the FACEBOOK, the youth who is suppose to be as the power of any nation is now much more interested in gossips and late night conversation on Facebook rather then on meeting physically with their colleagues and friends. They spent hours and hours on it. Now they have lost their charisma to utilise their energy in pursuing their career to the skies. A small faction of it actually knows it's relevance but a large proportion of it is still defected to know it exactly and they are being brain washed to be materialistic on the virtual world.
On their discourse, they put their heads together about the likes, followers, issues trending on it and just to mark it in a nutshell they believe more about what's going on their fabricated lives. Not only the youth, but also nurtured students are also pseudo addicted of all these mess. Students waste their potential on scrolling down the slides of Facebook, and wanted to become a celebutante on it.
Even, they have more interest for the possession on electronic gadgets so that they can enjoy and amuse in more efficient manner. They spend thousands of bucks on i pads, laptops, smartphones which should be highly advanced and more compatible then former.
We cannot ignore the truth, Facebook has retain the possession over the minds of almost every section of the society who so ever tastes it's pseudo pleasure. It has addicted every second person in this world. From the starting of the day we get up in the morning, the first thing every facebookite does is to check out the status and if anyone new stranger joined his follower list. The addiction of social media has gone up to the level that researchers from Chicago University found the addiction of social media is much stronger than the addiction of cigarettes and alcohols. Meanwhile, some conspiracy theories claimed it a Zionist plot and the conspiracy of corporate world. Usually every person finds his/her bliss in Facebook. day to day, it's following is going higher and higher by crossing the limits of sky. Facebook is the largest social network in the world with 1.86 billion active users in  which 1.15 billion are the mobile daily active users.
Followed by Facebook, INSTAGRAM has got a fine position in the market of social media. Those who felt tiresome of Facebook, shifted their sands from former to letter one. With some kind of modification like sharing of photos i.e you can post your photos and can follow other posts and have followers. More importantly, it has one remarkable feature which Facebook doesn't provide, no one can download any photo of either his follower/followings or any stranger's one. And with this fabrication, one feels more privacy on it instead of Facebook. Indeed this doesn't affect it's market because the follower who earlier only uses Facebook now also have an additional account of Instagram. So from on wards he gives 2 hours more then what he used to give. Now he has to maintain one more account and its deeds.
The legacy has been carried forward by the SNAP CHAT, and android fuelled the remaining space left out for the victims to their me time. Snap chat has secured its importance in the heart of social media victims, and in such a way that people have the difficulty in quitting the social networks because of FOMO ( fear of missing out ). I was appalled by observing that snap chat also doesn't offer something outstanding for perceiving any attraction albeit people more emphatically use it for the sake of publicity stunt on the virtual world. And this is absolutely a matter of concern that i have mentioned here only some prominent social media networks, we cannot anticipate the addiction of rest of other like Whats app, Twitter, LinkedIn, You tube, Tumbler and Telegram.
When technology hadn't the deeper roots, we were fascinated towards it, and now when it has the large roots in our minds we found ourselves in quandary for our bliss and happiness. When the Internet was in the stage of fostering itself we used to find pleasure in it, but when it nurtured completely we try to go away from it and sojourn somewhere in the nature to get some peace and harmony in their lives. It has made the life of civilians in the anxiety.
No one can be left out from this rift because almost everyone has joined himself/herself in at least one of the social networks. So now we should take a break from all these mess and chaos and ask oneself, what are we trying to get from this intangible virtual world ? Why we are wasting our precious juncture for creating a meaningless society ? Is it really worthy to do whatever we have been doing since a long period of time ? Shouldn't we only enjoy it rather be a addict of it ?
Before raising our voices for the atomic bombs, we should understand which is really a weapons of mass destruction ?

How Politicians Switch Parties Right Before Elections For Selfish Gain

India is the largest democracy in the world. It had marked the historic victory of non-violence over the Britishers by the setup of the democratic machinery. Many countries were inspired by India’s independence struggle and it’s obsession with democracy.
After independence, the freedom fighters decided to run the business of the country through a well comprehensive Constitution based on the spirit of democratic principles. One of the democratic principles were the elections, which they had decided to hold just after the Constitution came into effect on January 26, 1950.
One of the nationalist parties i.e. the Indian National Congress directly indulged in the freedom struggle and came in the limelight in the first general elections of 1952 and won it with an absolute majority by defeating other regional parties. With the passage of some years, INC lost some of its confidence amongst the citizens and paved the way for parties like the Communist Party of India, Socialist Party and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. These parties won major state assembly elections subsequently.
According to a report in the Times of India in August 2015, the Election Commission said that there were 1866 registered political parties in India.
In this era, people now see Indian politics as their profession. and every third person wants to join political parties with the dream of a beaming career. In Indian politics, when any supporter or leader serves his party, he makes sure he himself gains some position within the party in return for his service. When the elections draw near, he dreams of getting a ticket from his party in order to cement his allegiance and service for the party.
And now with the coming state assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur, Uttrakhand, Goa and Himachal Pradesh in 2017, former Member of Parliament from Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency, Navjot Singh Sidhu defected from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the Indian National Congress (INC) in order to get the ticket for the state assembly elections and there are also speculations that he would also be made the deputy chief minister if INC wins the elections.
In Uttar Pradesh also, a top leader of Bahujan Samaj Party, Swami Prasad Maurya changed his party from the BSP to BJP and also got the assembly ticket from the latter and is going to contest from the Padrauna seat. Even he was considered amongst the loyalist leaders of BSP Supremo Mayawati. INC also had a defector from their ranks. One of their top leaders Rita Bahuguna. She joined the BJP by resigning from all the posts of the INC and got a ticket from the Lucknow cantonment in the forthcoming elections.
Rashtriya Lok Dal cannot be left out from these rifts. The RLD legislator also left his party and joined the BJP in the elections and also secured his seat from the Barauli from the BJP.
Many top leaders of the political parties changed alliances. For the sake of their own future, they make a fool of the general voters to ultimately gain power in the elections. They don’t even show their fidelity to their own party. Yesterday, they raged against one party, and tomorrow they joined the same one. Navjot Singh Sidhu before joining the INC said, “I am a born congressman, this is my ghar wapsi.” Swami Prasad Maurya said that he felt suffocated in BSP and Mayawati auctioned tickets for the polls.
They want to sneak off from one party to another. I mean the general voter can’t make a distinction either between the political parties or their political leaders. A political leader doesn’t bother about the serious issue of the citizens.
Political leaders are supposed to be the representatives of the public. The voters cast their vote within the assurance that politicians will eradicate their problems. He will sort out the general issues among the communities, he will take the initiative for the betterment of their lives, he would help raise their standard of living. But when a common voter sees this kind of a mess, he loses his hopes in democracy. He thinks that in this lifetime he wouldn’t enjoy that life which he dreamt of. He thinks democracy is the curse on him. He is tired of the political instability.
So, before casting our votes for them, we should first sort out the basic queries from them. Why do they do all this? Why are they not serious about the issues of those people who have placed them on that prestigious position? Why don’t they perform what is expected of them? Why do they think only about themselves?

Should we become a Good Samaritan ?

In this highly technological world, our desires are being fulfilled very conveniently. We use the technology very efficiently in order to achieve our goals. We need not to be bother about how the things get to be done. The era of internet made our lives more simple and interesting.
When we used to communicate with a person sitting so far, we need to wait for a long time and also the mode of communication is not so highly advanced.
Similarly, if we used to go for a long distance we don't have the better transportation facilities, but with the passage of time we have advanced our technology and we have all those convenient transport by which we can go in any corner of this world within a short period of time. On the other hand, we have created a laundry list of the problems of ourselves.

In the 21st century, every one have their own transport vehicle. With the increase in the number of the vehicles. Our record of road accidents went up drastically, and we suffer a vast number of unnatural death of human lives. Not only accidents have the contribution in losing of lives, but the turning reluctant nature of bystanders also contributed for this too. In 2014, on an average 16 people were killed every hour and 387 every day in road accidents. According to the 2014 annual report of the National Crime Record Bureau, 4,40,898 cases of road accidents took place that year, killing 1,41,526 people. Research published in the Indian Journal of Surgery suggest that 80 percent of victims fail to receive emergency medical care in the 'last life hour'. Bystanders often appear reluctant to help the injured because of the fear of legal consequences if one's actions are ineffective or harmful, or fear of involvement of in a subsequent investigation.
According to the WHO report, "generally people do not die of severe injury. they die of airway obstruction. a bystander can easily open the airway through simple methods like jaw thrusting or chin lifting."

To address this, the supreme court in the historic judgement on 30th march in SaveLife Foundation v. Union of India issued directions empowering bystanders to help accident victims. the court said "it is absolutely necessary that good Samaritans feel empowered to act without fear of adverse consequence".
The Central Government published the guidelines in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section I dated 12th may,2015 for protection of the good Samaritans. The Central Government issue Standard Operating Procedure for the examination of the good Samaritans during the trial by the police and they are as follows:
1. The good Samaritans will be treated respectfully and without any discrimination.
2. The police won't force any good Samaritans in elicit or extort information or anything else.
3. The police won't compel the good Samaritan his or her name, identity, address in the police record form or register.
4. The concerned police official shall allow the good Samaritan to leave after having informed the police about the injured person on the road, and no further question shall be asked if the good Samaritan doesn't desire to be a witness in the matter.
The guidelines, will not only protect helpful bystanders from unnecessary legal hassles, but will also reward them for their acts. They recommend stringent action against police officers or doctors who harass people acting in good faith or who refuse treatment to accident victims. Delhi Police issued an Advisory after the December 16 gang rape incident where the victim and her male friend lying unattended on the road for a long time, As per this advisory, who brings an accident victim to hospital victim just needs to leave the patient at the hospital and go. He or She doesn't need to see the police for any legal formalities.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued the guidelines that no public or private hospital can demand payment for registration and admission cost from the good Samaritans. The Good Samaritan can choose to be an eyewitness and cannot be compelled. Section 284 of the Cr PC allows examination of a witness through a commission and Section 296 of the Cr PC allows evidence to be given through and affidavit. Karnataka is set to become the first state to have a good Samaritan law.
Piyush Tiwari, founder and CEO of SLF says, "the challenge at present is that people are unaware about their legal rights as good Samaritans."

A bystander can play a game changing role in saving the lives. They can call for help, provide first aid to the injured and even rush them to the nearest hospital, if the ambulance does not arrive on time.

OLYMPICS:A CHANCE TO SHOW THE POWER

Olympics is the well known sports competition where more than 200 nations participate. One more Olympics has gone by:RIO OLYMPICS. A total of 974 medals were won by 87 countries. This time also United States won the highest 121 medals among all the nations and in Asia, only China was able to place itself in the top ten position.

As we should know that United States,Great Britain,Germany,France,Australia,Russia,China,Japan and South Korea continued to dominate in this Olympics as usual, India was placed at 67 by winning only 2 medals that too silver and bronze only. India's performance was proved to be the poorest among all the nations. All the time, we gave laundry list of complaints like lack of facilities,sports administrators,blame on sports ministry and we say this once in every four years at the time of Olympics.

India is one of the Nuclear powers in the world. We have the largest constitution,we are the largest producer of Doctors, Engineers and many more professionals which any super power wasn't able to do. All countries want to manage good affairs with India and they made their foreign policy in favor of this nation. However, the performance of India in Olympics is too bad and it deserves a better position keeping in mind the great talent it has. On the other hand, New Zealand won 10 of its medals in rowing,sailing and canoeing, all based on its rich marine heritage. Jamaica won in athletics, specifically in running, in which it has built a super cluster, Italy won 7 medals in shooting, 4 in fencing, Cuba 6 in boxing, Kazakhstan 5 in weightlifting, Iran 5 in wrestling, Kenya 13 in athletics.

Long term thinking is good so instead of aiming and planning for more medals in 2020 Tokyo Olympics, we should prepare ourselves for Olympics scheduled eight or twelve years from now. Fortunately, we already have  the building clusters of excellence. Pullela Gopichand has single-handedly built a cluster for badminton in Hyderabad. Haryana is the cluster of excellence for boxing and wrestling. North East has shown remarkable energy in sports by producing the ideals like Marry Kom and Dipa Karmakar. If we focus on sports, there is sure-fire way of bringing the north eastern state into the main stream. Kerala is big in boat racing and martial arts,a natural place to develop capabilities in canoeing and sports like judo and taekwondo. Maharashtra is big in mallakhamb and gymnastics is a natural extension for this.

If our government and our ministers would provide for money and material to the athletes for practicing instead of distributing felicitation money to only two medalists then we could hope that more medals would come to our home because our athletes would first play for their nation then for themselves.

We just need to focus on the hidden talent in our country and athletes should be provided with the adequate facilities without any bias policy. We have to make INDIANS GREAT in this area also.

Secularism in India

As we have already know that our country had adopted many things from western countries.Though we had also adopted the concept of Secularism from west.But as we had borrowed it so it doesn't mean that we had enacted it as it is.We have to first clear the concept of Secularism in our mind.

Might be Western countries adopted same secularism among their constitutions.But the constitution makers of India were quite aware of the diversities in India and they known that they couldn't adopted the same Secularism in their home country.They have to make some modifications with India's situation.But the biggest problem with the Indian is they thought that our constitution also spell in the same manner as the western Secularism do.
So first of all I want to clarify this concept of Secularism in Western context and in Indian context.

If we turn the pages of history of revolutions in the Europe,than we will find that two major institutions ruled the empire and they were Churches and Kings.and actually the King got his authority from the Church and articulated that he is the direct messenger of God and whatever decision he taken is the wish of God so the civilians don't dare to go against the will of the God because he is the supreme and eternal.And they also thought that the social inequalities which was prevailing in the empire is the wish of God.
But later on people thought that why God will give us pain,nevertheless he is the creator,he loves his followers so why was he interested to give us pain ?than they decided to do whatever their rationale mind will tell them.They realized that this biased concept had formed by these Churches and Kings.Although the churches regulated the Kings in ruling the empire so they decided to separate these two institution from one another and after some time when the separate states formed they enacted this concept in their constitutions and declared that "STATE HAS NO RELIGION".
And also the belief in the religion got depleted in those days in the entire European region.

But when our intellectuals at the time of independence sited to form a dynamic constitution for their country they surveyed in each and every country and borrowed whatever they thought quite good for their constitution.
but when they heard about the Secularism and critically analyzed it,they feared that this will create discord among the Indians.so they have molded it according to the religions in India.They enacted it in the Indian constitution as "STATE HAS NO ONE RELIGION".
It means that the Indian state won't look into any case with the perception of majority religion instead with the specific religion.In Indian context,our constitution gives us a fundamental right to freedom of religion and every person has a right to profess, practice and propagate the religion he or she believes in as inclined between Articles 25 to 28 of Part IV of the Indian constitution.

In western countries if you become an Atheist  than you'll be considered as most Secular.But in India,if a person is following any religion he/she can be considered as Secular because with believing in his/her religion he/she isn't defaming or speaking against the ethos of anyone's religion.

And with this feeling and with this ideology most of the Indians of different religion are living in this country so peacefully and happily.and i have written this article for those antagonistic people who portrayed the Indian Secularism as a same product of west and claimed it as an anti-religion.
This is a Myth that Indian Secularism is anti-religion.
